Bisogna dire che questa ricetta non doveva essere questa
ricetta. L’idea originale era una zuppa con cavolo verza e riso e basta. Poi
non so bene cosa sia successo e mi sono ritrovata con un piatto di conforto
così semplice che penso rientrerà tra i cibi comfort che non possono mancare in una sera come queste, tra temperature sfasate, davanti
ad un buon film o alla serie del momento..
Ingredienti:
400 gr di cavolo verza
1 cipolla
2 patate rosse
180 gr di piselli
½ dado vegetale senza lievito
olio e.v.o.

Procedimento:
Per questa prima volta ho cucinato quasi tutti gli ingredienti
separati, come ho detto l’idea iniziale era diversa.
Fate bollire in una pentola 1 litro d’acqua circa
aggiungendo ½ dado vegetale senza lievito.
Tagliate a pezzetti una cipolla, aggiungete in un wok un
filo d’olio e metà della cipolla tagliata, l’altra metà versatela in una
padella dove avete versato precedentemente un filo d’olio.
Nel frattempo lavate le foglie di verza, ho indicato circa
400 gr, ma la quantità è a piacere. I piselli che ho usato erano quelli in
barattolo, scolateli, sciacquateli e aggiungeteli nella padella alla cipolla versando anche ½ bicchiere d’acqua. Fate saltare la verza tagliata nel wok con la cipolla per un
paio di minuti circa con un pizzico di sale e poi aggiungete il brodo vegetale
caldo e coprite con il coperchio.
In un altro pentolino fate bollire due dita d’acqua.
Sbucciate, lavate e tagliate due patate, appena bolle l’acqua versatele. Ho usato quelle rosse, sono saporite e in pochi minuti sono pronte! Anche i piselli
non impiegano molto tempo. Controllate e girate la verza nel
wok, quando la verza è pronta,
aggiungete le patate e i piselli.
Fate cuocere tutto nel wok per 5 minuti con coperchio e poi
altri 5 o poco più senza coperchio. Decidete voi la quantità di brodo che
preferite avere, dipende dal vostro gusto.
Potete aggiungere un pizzico di sale, di pepe, di
peperoncino o nulla, sempre in base al vostro gusto.
Pronta!

Cook for 5 minutes, then drain and rinse the peas and add to the kale.
In another pan, boil two inches of water. Peel, wash and cut two red potatoes, pour the potatoes in boiling water. I used the red ones, they are tasty and ready in a few minutes! Add the potatoes in the wok. Cook everything in the wok for 5 minutes with lid and then another 5 or so without cover. You decide the amount of stock that you prefer to have, it depends on your taste.
